Except it wasn't the prosecution who subpoenaed Wade and Miller. It was the defense attorney for the defendant, Dawkins. He is quoted as saying he wants to "pull back the curtain" on the world of college basketball. I imagine that even if Wade is called to testify the prosecution and the judge won't allow it to become a circus that loses sight of the subject matter of the case, which is criminal allegations with respect to Dawkins.

Not really. There's at least a measure of corruption at every major D1 program in multiple sports. Is your issue someone being an "admitted" cheater? Or is it OK if a coach is a cheater and no one knows it?
