These games are what make LSU and SEC football so special. If it's close and you win you go man that was fun all the while your stomach is in knots.

If you lose, that's just life in the SEC, but most likely it was a damn good football game.

Rest assured that even if we lose this game theres about a 75% chance we still control our MNCCG destiny. Its how I think about it anyways.

so true!!!

It is going to be a great game, Tigers will come out swinging and if Mett plays like he has the last 4 games, put the W in the column next to the Tigers!!!

1. I expect Les to have the team focused and amped up. They aren't nervous. They're out for blood.

2. Our defense is better than theirs. And J.Hill + Mettenswagasiah is at least equal to Gurley + Murray.
Throw in our receivers and our offense is arguably better as well.

3. Mett has that confidence and moxie this year that will propel him to the good game he wants to make UGA sorry they booted him.

4. I think Georgia will come out a bit tight. This is must win for them or the national title is a pipe dream. We can lose and still play for the SEC championship and national championship.

Alright my good man, here is some sunshine to bolster your confidence...

While watching the 4th qtr of the Au game last week, I could only laugh when I heard the ignorant announcer proclaim that Au wars full of fire and capable of a great comeback while LSU looked totally gassed and praying to run out the clock to escape with a victory.

What the talking head did not realize is that Les actually wasn't worried about the big bad Au offense in the least. Shux, he might have even wanted to see the defense in a sticky situation since he could have sicked the offense on Au's arses and scored at will by that point in the game. But that would be inconceivable to anyone other than a knowledgeable Tiger fan.

The big secret was really just a couple of new starters IMO. Yes sir, the pieces are there my friend and what better position to start with on a Chavis defense than at LB?. It sure didn't take long for the new LB on the block to make his name known on the field. Kwon seems to be able to cover like an All American Free Safety. Just when a opponent's OC thinks that he has caught the Chief in his base 4-3 and has mismatches with slot receivers against OLBs, his strategy turns into a liability!

Of coarse some fans call LSU DBU so why not throw the spotlight on Mr. T White, our next lock down CB which will allow us to play the kind of blitz packages that LSU fans have grown used to seeing. He will need time to earn the Chief's full trust, he will be a big reason why this defense will look damn strong against Georgia's senior QB this weekend.

And this brings me to the nickel and dime packages. LSU's defense used to be dominant out of the dime and nickel packages for obvious reasons in the recent past. Well get ready for more of the same form this year's defense now that we are seeing what the true freshmen can do on the field already. When we all Micah Eigene to the Nickel mix, I can't wait for Geo to get into some of their hurry up multiple wide out packages! The Chief will bring blitzes form angles that would give a trig teacher headaches!

Shux bro, I won't even dive into this year's offense! Let's just say that while the Chief will be able to mix things up on the defensive side of the ball, I am super stoked to finally find out what it is like to have an OC that has actually saved some wrinkles for the tougher opponents. LSU's offense has really not been doing many things that we don't see from every other team on a regular basis. The only difference is that LSU's personel is superior in spades. Just wait until we see the offense in situations where they will need to answer an opponent's scoring drives like they started to against TCU in the season opener. Do you remember how good Mett looked on third downs? Clutch baby!

So don't worry my good man. Enjoy this ride. The schedule will garauntee us some thrillers but I am sticking to my guns from preseason and predicting the 2013 NCAA FB season to belong to LSU's Fighting Bayou Bengals!

Don't forget to keep up with recruiting along the way because these HS players are going to be chanting "LSU LSU" in the All American games! There won't be enough hats to go around! It's no wonder that LSU's class is just 14 deep while everyone else is near or over 20 players at this time.

Now don't you feel silly that you were once nervous about this weekend's victims in Athens?

Mett, OBJ, and Landry against that secondary makes me feel at ease. It will be a good game, I predict a crucial mistake on uga special teams though

Tigers leave with a W 45-31

This particular Dawg and Cat fight always makes me nervous. Nothing in this game is a gimme.

I have no doubt LSU will come with their best, and prepared to the hilt. UGA will too. We knew this would be one of LSU's biggest tests.

Now GEAUX TIGERS!!!

I really feel good about this one . I'll be sitting in a room Half full of Ga fans so I sure hope my feelings are right. If we can take care if the football and avoid stupid penalties we will win this one going away. 42-31 LSU!

Like most games with evenly matched teams, this one will come down to turnovers and special teams play. I just hope the refs, stay out of the way. Please no Bugeyes or Wagers for this one.

Very nervous about this one myself, mainly because as someone else said, ga is tested.

From what I've seen though, our o can for sure put up 35+ on that d. Our d just needs to hold them to 34, and I think chief and his young'ens get that done.

I will say though that gurley is a full grown man. To build confidence, I'd look at Murray's record against teams that mattered. I'd also say this. If you were going back to your ten year high school reunion as the best looking, most successful man in your class, what would your attitude be? 'Cause that'll be Mett come Saturday. He's GOT to be looking forward to this.

I am not for one. This games doesn't really hurt lsu as far as winning the sec west. If u drop this one but win out, we will have a rematch. Then most likely play for the natty if u win that one.

UGA has a better defense than Auburn in every defensive statistical category. LINK
