Just curious. Was watching the replay and just noticed that. I didn't notice at the time that it happened.

Yes I noticed it live. Just a couple of inches higher and it would have bounced over…..I told myself that it was a fitting end to the game based on how the whole night went.

at the game and was sitting right behind that cross bar. It came so close to still making it over.

Just stood there in disbelief until after the alma mater

Makes it sound even more like a low trajectory. IIRC from when my son was a kicker, that is often a leg strength issue.

Florida St players were celebrating and had no clue. That would have been one hell of a way to lose a game. I get that it doesn’t really matter, but it’s pretty crazy (or at least could have been)
