Also the defensive call on the TD with 5 seconds left in the 2nd quarter was the worst call of the game and probably cost us the game.

Great post and I know you’re trying to be fair to the staff, but this one was just inexcusable. I’m still mad about them defending the only part of the field we should have been begging them to attack.

2nd worst call was later in the game 3rd and goal when we tried some BS again with Landen Collins being a “decoy” and it got stuffed and we had to settle for the FG. I’d you’re going to do that stupid shite then just leave Leavitt in…

Both of those were just stupid ideas before the ball was snapped.

Remember when we brought max pressure exactly once and the 6th year qb threw a pic?

Baker lost that game. You don't have your DBs playing 12 yards off the ball on 2nd and 3. Have some faith in your corners and let twm play.

I am perfectly fine mixing up coverages as I think that’s the best way to play. I’m even fine if you want to be a blitzing type of defense. What I am not fine with is seeing a defensive philosophy for 2 games and then not seeing that same philosophy in game 3! Especially when it clearly worked in games 1-2! I get this team is better but we were treating them like a batting practice pitcher! Just throwing nice and easy zones with 7-10 yard cushions for easy and simple passes to be thrown!I get Chambliss is great and he proved it in the 2nd half when we finally went back to what worked in games 1 and 2. However, it would’ve been nice to see that same defense in the first half as they were scoring at will on us!
