Max is tough but my goodness what was he thinking????? Back to the line of scrimmage and just heaves it....

Not sure I have. Not with the back completely turned toward the LOS like that.

I'm not sure why he wasn't at least benched for a series after that. Any other position on the team do something that stupid and its staright to the bench.

Reminded me of the no-look over the shoulder fake field goal under Miles, except that worked because Miles had unbelievable luck when it came to stupid weird plays that should never happen.

does it matter?

that play didn’t win or lose us the game.

you got man handled at the line of scrimmage by a PAC12 team.
your linebackers and safeties made their TE’s and RB’s look like All Americans.
your coaches didn’t make any adjustments while Chip Kelly preyed on our your every weakness all night.

you got embarrassed. move on. 1 dumbass play by an 18 year old didn’t make a fricking but of difference last night nor will it for the season.

He should have been benched. He was NOT remotely close to thinking, totally lost it and lucky it was not a pick 6.
