Anyone else trying to not over react after all the positives?

Ga So, being a 10 win team last year isnt making it easy lol. I’m trying to not bet my mortgage on the Texas game lol. Feeling 2007 ish without the KY let down. If the Tigers open a can of whoop arse in Austin I’m going to attempt to attend every game this year

I’m tapering expectations until after the Texas game. It’s easy to beat up on Georgia Southern.

Don’t get me wrong, I was pumped as hell about it, but you never really know until you go on the road and beat a top 10 team

Let me know if you need tickets if that’s the case.

You should attend every game or attempt to no matter what but...

It looked more like a glorified scrimmage than a real game. Saturday will say a lot but each week is a different week.

And week one was just like a practice IMO

I don't mind fans overreacting, as long as the players don't. This team has all the pieces and is brimming with potential, so I'm all for dreaming big as a fan.

I’m chilling until after this weekend.
Def enjoyed what I saw and have no doubt this offense is different and better, but I’m not ready to predict an easy win against UT and projecting us to the playoffs

Actually, it's not - it's in the EATING.

For a little bit I was tempering but screw it. My expectations are now sky high for the team after that flawless performance. With the rest of the SEC being down and Bama showing weakness, this is LSU's year no doubt.

It was damn refreshing to stomp them out and not play so conservatively, aka Les offense.

Can't wait to see how we do against a real opponent, but things sure are looking sweet for the Tiger fans this year.

We'll see . . . can't wait.

Imagine being so obsessed with arguing with anonymous people on a message board that you construe optimism after week 1 as a "new agenda".

What's funny about this post, is that if I had posted the exact same thing it would be called negative.

FWIW, I think you're 100% right and agree with this take entirely.

I'm confident in saying they have the potential to be as good as anyone in the country...

As always a poor game is always possible as Texas is a very capable team

Not all 10 win teams are equal.

Saturday looked great but it was still Ga Southern.

I’m Much more optimistic than before but I want to see it again this week before I really buy the hype.

Not the easiest thing in the world to hit all road games. I’ll only go to Bama if I can get a reasonable ticket. I’m not overpaying for that. Ole Miss for sure and I suppose Moo state as well as Vandy. Should all be easy tickets. I’d call those likely.

I know we dont have Hester and Williams but man that looked like 07 level offense. If we handle Texas as I expect my head will most likely explode.

I agree with this but Ive sat in that Stadium too many times and watched the JJ’ and Harris’s of the world throw the ball into the dirt over and over. I typically just want to see our team execute like they’re playing a team that isnt great in a situation like Saturday. We did just that. I’m used to the D stomping people’s asses but not the offense looking so proficient, hell against air.

I'm with you and I get it.

But the season is really about 5 games, maybe 6.
