It's not hard to compete instantly...if you have money.

Are you guys saying Calipari couldn't come in here and get us to the dance next season? All it takes is a coach who has the big name. We need a guy who can easily snatch a couple of top guys, even one and done guys, and the wins will come...

he had no trouble cleaning the shite out of Kentucky.

Sure, but that appearance would disappear about 6 years later when LSU is put on probation for NCAA violations and has wins vacated. But that's besides the point.

It also helps to have a name or brand, which LSU hasn't had since the Dale Brown era tbh,

Keep in contact with Bruce Pearl. You can argue if he deserves another chance or not, but there's no question that the dome would be packed.

So, it's very possible. Got to get the right person. If Gonzaga and Baylor can do it (compete), so can we.

Pearls show cause runs out in 2014. If TJ doesnt have it turned around/isnt fired by then I will picket outside the AD's office to hire Bruce Pearl. BP would make basketball fun again and high schoolers want to play for that kind of personality.

Exactly...for a brief stint in the Brady era it was there...very brief. Unfortunately, you have to get the perfect fit, like Drew at Baylor. They have joined the top tier teams in the state, and as of this year, surpassed them.

That state belonged to Rick Barnes, and A&M at least had their share of wins, but now Baylor seems to be running away with the big time recruits.

Kentucky is on top now but wait till they are on probation. Cal is a cheating sob and everyone knows it. The General called im out on ESPN one night and said every program he is associated with ends up on probation. Knight also said he shouldn't be allowed in college sports.

hey one more time..i am still a fan...but this brand of basketball today with this coach is frustrating. I just love when a douche questions someones fandom on here.
You said you were uninterested in the program and don't even want to watch the games.

Doesn't sound like you're much of a fan.
