Anyone else thinks Trey Quinn comes out of the doghouse now?

I'd like to see him get starter snaps again at this point and I feel like Miles' frustration is growing with the current starters.
Or are we just gonna stick with Dupre, Dural, Johnson/Diarse and hope the light comes on

I definitely think Quinn gets more looks this week. I noticed he was targeted on the first pass play of the second half. That may be foreshadowing of things to come.

I think he at least deserves a chance. He can't be any worse/less aggressive than dural and dupre

He's not in the doghouse. He's been playing all year. Dural is much more experienced and Dupre is more talented. Other than those two, Quinn is right in the mix.
Sometimes a guy like Tyron gets snaps and folks on here think he's moved up the depth chart, but that's often not the case. The receivers train for certain positions and plays. For example, Diarse could be practicing for the backup Y and Quinn for the backup Z. The starting Z gets hurt, so Quinn comes in. Folks think Quinn is ahead of Diarse, but Diarse might not have even been an option.

Rickety Cricket, that's one game, last season, when the kid was a freshman. If you want to get into drops, do the math with our current starters THIS season. One in particular who is no freshman.

People who didn't pay attention last year forget Quinn was doing everything expected of him! Then came the big hit! Later in the Bama game He dropped 2. Everyone melted over it. It was almost like many where waiting to find anything to discredit him! Then there's all the comments about him being white!
Now with all the other recievers drops and mental errors you see excuses such as the qb eyed the receiver setting him up for a big hit. The ball wasn't thrown perfect! Quinn jokes that are made on here make me sick! This kid is fast. He can catch! He can block! He has the same size that some of our greatest receivers had so thats no issue! This guy was respected more in high school and performed at a level that shows with his name in the record books! I could care less about all the trash some say about him. He was a starting freshman who went from being a star in high school to a totally different system. The seldom pass he saw his freshman year was usally in traffic and after the target hit against him I'm sure that stayed in his head! After the TWO drops against Bama and the backlash from them I'm sure he will be more prepared and do whatever it takes! This guy is for real! He has some of the best hands! It's time he shows why so many love watching him! This kid has tons of talent and is a true team player! Give him his chance and see if the others learn after they sit like Quinn did!

First sensible post all thread, we have talent ahead and behind him on the depth chart but none of it matters cause we dont/cant pass the ball affectively. Everytime I see a "why doesnt Quinn play more" thread is started I just laugh and compare yall to the female in the room during a football game thats always yelling "why do they keep running it up the middle?! It never works." We get it people hes white and holds the high school record for catches or yards or whatever but fact is we have better guys on the roster than him right now.
