Can you imagine the offers Alleva would make to would-be replacements for Aranda and Brady while simultaneously negotiating a raise/extension for Coach O?

Woodward hasn’t done anything to be thankful for yet.

He didn't come up with Duke's strategy for handling the lacrosse scandal. That's a start.

What are you talking about? He saddled A&M with that huge Jimbo contract, didn't he?

What more does he need to do?

Not being Joe Alleva is good enough for me

The more I think about it the less I’m worried. Woodward isn’t gonna backdown from outbidding whoever he and O target.

What has he done yet? Other than giving out an irresponsible contract.

This is sort of why I didn't understand the people calling to give O a huge raise and extension. And yes I am thankful for him.

I don't expect a similar season next year. However, this here is now the ultimate test of his model..

Let's make sure we can weather losing both sides of the ball without really falling flat?

Idk, but it is very nice to have Woodward here.

What exactly has Woodward done? Alleva is the person who made the Orgeron hire that brought LSU a championship.

He has a strong history of making grand slam hires. He knows how to sell an opportunity and persuade elite coaches.

He hasn't done anything to be thankful for yet at LSU because he hasn't had a chance to - that's about to change.

Ask me after our coaching staff is filled out. I think my answer will be yes, but check back later.

Yeah like making a ridiculously bad hire in Jimbo that the Aggies are now stuck with for a decade?

I didn’t like Alleva but my point is there is nothing Woodward has done yet to sell any of us on. Hopefully he makes some big hires here.

He got Jimbo Fisher to leave Florida State for a mediocre program in the middle of nowhere that Jimbo had zero connection to.

Yeah, I'd say that was a pretty big hire.

Orgeron brought LSU a championship not Alleva.

He got him to leave Florida state because it was turning into a dumpster fire. Jimbo was begging to leave that place. He handed over 75 million dollars to him and they aren’t very good.
