There is something different about the emotional makeup of the key players and leaders of this team. Many of them have the same mind set as Mathieu. They think they can win and believe they are as good as anybody.

I believe this as well.
You can see it evidenced in plays like Harris being wrapped up for a sure sack, but instead tossing it to LF who runs for 30+ yards (syracuse) or Guice refusing to go down when smashed behind the line 3 times (south carolina) or Domingue bobbling and casually pulling in a fake kick for a touchdown. This team has the drive, moxie, and talent. They want this! and they're going to take it!

I'll admit to being a bit of a negatiger, but I've got a good feeling about this game. I think we get it done, but it will be close.

If we lose to Ole Miss and they win out (their toughest game outside of LSU is at home vs Miss St), then we lose the division.

The 2 teams we can not lose to are Bama and Ole Miss.

I have a subtle negative feeling I may not have enough liquor to celebrate this victory.

Surely I'm not alone in this feeling.

Alabama is a team who feels entitled to the championship crown every year. Justly so, they have an outstanding history. This young LSU Team will have to look past this and play Alabama as they would any other team. I for one feel this young team is on the brink of greatness. I hope they prove me right this weekend!

Nah, I enjoy a big win. I'm very hopeful for a big win as much as anyone. I'm just as old as you are, born in '66 in the Baton Rouge General. I'll will always be a fan of LSU. I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, graduated from LSU along with 2 brothers. I bleed p&g. That will never change. It's all about differing personalities I guess. I really don't see why you should get so upset over negative comments on a message board. I do let my emotions get the better of me during games and express them here, I admit. But regardless I'm glad we have rabid upbeat fans like you. Seriously. I would hate to hang around a bunch of people who were just like me. I do need to be more positive I don't however think I deserve to be disrespected and called names for expressing an opinion.

This is one of the most reasonable things I have ever seen on this site. I have a completely different philosophy, but have a lot easier time with your perspective now.

It takes all kinds...

I'm picking my LSU sophomore son up in BR on Friday afternoon, and headed for enemy territory.

players aren't scared of them. They played against them in high school and it will be won by the team that is the nastiest. NOPE, not nervous at all.

BOOM that's what Bama's gonna hear all night.

Get the Ben Gay cause LSU is about to bloody Tuscaloosa.

Florida's offense was putrid compared to what we will see this week.

Disagree... that little bastard T Harris was hard to catch. We gave them 14 points. Otherwise, not that close.

B Harris is about to go off on Bama Saturday. His real coming out party. Extra week will help him the most. He's ready. I think CLM and Cam know they can trust him now. It will help LF7 much. 300+

I don't have negative feelings but also am not overconfident heading into this game. Bama has talent and will be up for this game as usual. I am excited to see what our offense will do against this insanely hyped front 7 from Bama. I really think anything can happen in this game. Could be close or a blowout either way. I do gain optimism thinking about how LSU has a truly special RB that could be the difference in the game.

Those upvotes are from gumps, they are laughing at you and saying things like "LSwho fans are skeered"

Stop embarrassing yourself, you'll feel better.
