Smart is not the next Miles. He's Mark Richt 2.0. He'll win you a lot of games but never the big ones.

Nope...Georgia scored the first 10 points...and crossed midfield often.

that's when everyone, including saban, was playing that style of football. saban adapted and left miles in the dust.

I was thinking the EXACT same thing on Saturday. The Georgia fans thought they'd upgraded with Kirby. Instead they ended up with a younger version of Richt.

I kept telling Georgia fans that they better get to working on that old azz offense for when their defense failed. Their answer was... 'Our defense will never fail.' Nick has like 50 old head coaches on payroll just to figure out things like how to crack that Georgia defense. He cracked it in half with an offense that looked like he got rid of BOB. I bet BOB didn't have much at all to do with game plan Saturday.
Bottom line is you have to get up early and work hard to get ahead of what Alabama is doing especially in big games. I can't stand Bama, but respect what they've become under Saban's leadership.
It was refreshing to see the cocky UGA fans facing the music. They were already proclaiming National Champion due to how bad the competition was this year. Now looks like they're shying away from a real competition for it. As many have said now... If it's not this year, then I don't think UGA will ever win a Natty again.

It was literally nothing at all like that. Georgia jumped out to a 10 nothing lead and Alabama started putting on a passing game clinic. If it weren't for a couple of terrible turnovers by the Georgia offense this game would have been much closer.
LSU got completely dominated and did nothing offensively.
