We have our tee time later today.

Should be fun!

*They are doing it Thursday through Sunday. Tee times can be reserved from morning until around 9:00 at night. Snacks and booze available during.

I think it's a really cool program. They do that here at Minute Maid park as well.

I'm sure they have a damage clause in the contract
From where the tees are, it will be hard to reach suites
No Drivers are allowed either

Going tomorrow. We pushed it back to the evening because of rain.

Let us know how it is after.

I could hit a meatball from the Tiger Eye into Mike's habitat with a 7 or 8-iron.

It was freakin awesome!
Elevators are in service but you still walk a lot. Wear tennis shoes.
But it was so cool. Getting unlimited time in the locker room, tunnel/win bar and Lawton Room made the whole thing worth it with the golf being an added bonus but the golf was so neat to experience.
Nine tee boxes are throughout the whole stadium in the bleachers including four of them in the upper deck. You hit to greens on the field that are color coded like Top Golf.

You go to the Stadium Club through Gate 20 to check-in. They have drinks, soft drinks, food, and booths set up with virtual golf. For $10 each or so you can do closest to the hole, longest drive, or just warm up in some cages for free.

Totally cool experience!

What was the average yardage? What was the longest hole?

I can’t imagine you could ever use anything longer than a 9 iron?

Enjoyed the experience. Hit about 3/4 pitching wedge on about every shot.

Was windy today so not sure how much that played role. They give you distances but honestly you learn more after hitting your first shot so then you know what yardage to shoot for on 2nd shot.

Shots were mostly about 90-130

Definitely was worth it.

Talked to the guy that runs it today and they will be back to do it again next year. News media didn’t really know how much to advertise about it this year because like everyone else they were a little unsure about it. It will be advertised heavier next year

Today was like you completely had Tiger Stadium to yourself

Did it during the day today and enjoyed the views in the stadium and outside from different places in the stadium.

Next year will do it at night for a different experience.

Sound like a scheduling nightmare - when to tee off without others on the playing field? -

does each party have the whole stadium for the duration? - each tees off at same time for each hole and play them out of order? - everyone wear a hard hat and takes yer chances?

but it sounds like a helluva lotta fun!!!!!

You aren’t on the field. You hit all of the shots from the stands. Tee times are like every 4 minutes. There is a lot of walking throughout the stadium but never saw a ball within 100 yards or so of us. They do a good job of spacing the holes out so that you aren’t dodging balls. They said they design it so that the worst golfer in the world can’t hit you
