Do you criticize teams like bama/Clemson/Georgia because they out talent every team they play? Do their wins mean less?

This is really weird that you claim to be an LSU fan yet you are trying to shite on your program’s success.

How are they bad?

They keep two sets of fans at each other's throats over an issue decided three seasons ago instead of focusing on THIS SEASON and THIS TEAM which has championships aspirations.

In addition, many of us who defended Miles (see any a-hole claiming that he should have been fired after the TENN game in 2005 as reasons to have defended the guy for so long) have always been the most critical of Orgeron given the desire to hold our head coach to standards at least as high as the one we fired.

Continuing to shite on Miles will only keep this argument going, and it inevitably focuses attention on Orgeron. That's good...for now. Things look great, the offense is rolling, etc. That's the only reason these threads keep getting made. But we're four games into the season and we've played one real game. The meat of our schedule lies ahead, and as a program we've been here before MANY times rolling through the early stretch only to be derailed. Hopefully that does not happen this season...but if it does, what good do you think having continued this nonsense with with calling out Miles is going to do if we end up 9-3 or 10-2 and nowhere near Atlanta again? You think threads like this will age well if that happens?

Remember when I tried to explain it wasn't us creating these threads...? Maybe instead of calling out those that jump in, many just tell the OP to frick off so we can all move on?

Highlights the posters among us that don’t know what they are talking about at a very high level so great context to know whose opinions to pay attention to or not 3. It’s hilarious to see all of the former Les die hards freak out and over react to simple threads trying to discuss how awful Les truly was and how lucky we are to not have him as our coach anymore

What about those that are glad that he's gone but think it's time to move on and appreciate what we're doing now without trashing a coach that did a lot of good for the program? Where do I fit in on your intelligence scale?

Hiyoka NAILED IT!

And thanks to the OP for having the guts to state the truth. The OP's original statement/comment, and the reason why these threads are relevant, and continue, is because it's abundantly clear that there are still many ignorant fans (even today) that don't understand how/what/why was actually occurring while Miles was at the helm!

"Blind Loyalty" (enabling) & "False" Pride can KILL programs, companies, teams & people!!

To those who understand, no explanation is necessary; and to those who don't, no explanation will do.

completely agree. Blind loyalty is very dangerous, because it means you're not thinking, just mindlessly following.

Loved les miles. Was ready for him to leave. He coached three games to many.

You can love Les and want him gone, they are not synonymous.

I didn't want him fired per se after the Tennessee game but I was very concerned after that game and just hoping for the best. Didn't know about him worried about where his family was sitting, but trying to call a timeout after a turnover was pretty alarming.

For the record, I was very concerned from day 1 as mentioned above. Wanted him fired after we lost to Arkansas in 2007 (2nd loss of that season if UK came second). Luckiest series of events in the history of CFB probably let us get into the NC game and we won so just hoped that we could maybe just maybe out talent and out luck people. Cant remember if I got sick of him once and for all before getting humiliated in 2011 NC game, but that was the day I was done with that idiot. Just standing there not even trying anything or even trying to let J Lee do something was inexcusable and the guy had to go. Anyone who didn't realize this, accept this, and advocate vocally for this, doesn't understand football and doesn't need to be paid much attention to on this board for football related threads.

That's pretty ridiculous given everything going on around that game, and how the next several years played out.

I said I didnt want him fired or even have the thought at the time, but it did make a big impression that this guy didnt know such a basic rule of the game and/or got so flustered during a critical moment that he forgot or couldn't control himself.

To give a most accurate assessment, I need to know when you finally realized that Les needed to go was. With the current info from this thread alone and the fact that you are on the wrong side of it, I would give rate you no higher than a 6 on a scale of 1-10.

When did you finally and for good advocate for Les to be fired?

Supporting a good man and a good coach is what fans do.

You want to claim superiority because you just KNEW that Miles wasn’t going to win the West. What a bold prediction! You know who else wasn’t going to win the West with the stacked rosters that Saban assembled in Tuscaloosa? Every coach in the world.

When LSU loses a game this year, you can thump your chest and let everybody know that you knew all along. You knew that O wasn’t going to get it done. You can tell everybody who supported the coach that their cheers were just sustaining mediocrity.

Then you can rest your head at night assuring yourself that you are so wise, and the world would be so much better if people would just listen to you.
