4 runs in 6 innings is more than manageable. Offense isn't getting it done.

middle of the pack SEC team without him
I would have to agree, as much as I want this team to succeed, they need him desparately to establish the rotation, spirit, and domination of this team. Pitching needs to step it up. I guess we're gonna have to step it up too and cheer louder!!!

It's very early in the season. No, I don't think we can get back to CWS without AR unless some of the young pitchers start dominating. Last year we had AR and Coleman, with Ross being the 3rd starter. At the moment, Ross is #1. He's pitching about like he did last year. JB has potential, but he needs to avoid the big innings. Who would be the 3rd pitcher?

We usually do much better in hitting after it begins to get hot.

I still believe Matulis can be a big time pitcher. Hope he proves me right tomorrow.

I'm sure last year at this time, everyone thought we were a CWS team and would win it all...

If Arky can make it to the CWS last year...then so can LSU this year...even without AR. It may mean Ott is given a shot at a weekend starting spot...or maybe Hanover moves to third to give Didier or Dozar a shot in the lineup...who knows what PM could try. But the guy knows how to win...just look what his former assistant at ND is doing as HC of Virginia...not a coincidence IMO.

LSU has enough talent to get to the CWS without AR...but some changes need to be made.
