just to second what everyone else has already mentioned. LSU fans literally took over Seattle for a week. The amount of P&G walking around Seattle was insane.

3k? that's absolute BS

Your friend is insane. I made that trip and th ere were at least 10,000 LSU fans. The newspaper even did a story about the invasion of cajuns and how the hotel bars in downtown Seattle actually ran out of liquor.

That was one of the best away game trips without a doubt. LSU took that city by storm and it seemed both LSU folks and locals alike got along well.

You mean the wooden bleachers with 20 coats of old paint on them.

You couldn't walk around downtown Seattle the day before the game without seeing somebody in P&G every 2 minutes

Hope there was a lot of yellow and blue seen as well.

From what I've heard, everyone that went had a blast. Even said it was the best away game trip they've been on.

One of the best road trips I've ever made. On game day we rode to the game on a water shuttle. There were so many LSU fans on the boat that we ran an LSU flag up the flag pole. The captain got pissed but we owned that shuttle.

Did anyone bitch? Weren't a lot of people happy to make that trip and see something different?
a bartender near the stadium told me that we had more fans there than any team he had ever seen before. he said the only school who came close was Ohio State.

we literally drank a bar out of all of their brown liquor on gameday

this is like +40 by now but just wanted to add that everyone i know who went had a blast, never complained, and pretty much the entire fanbase was thrilled about the road trip. the only pathetic part about the trip were that the people of seattle didnt understand why so many lsu people were in their city. i mean cmon how slow do you have to be?

Kells Irish Pub ran out of beer 2 days in a row & had to call in extra waiters as early as 10 am both mornings as there were lines of LSU fans waiting to get in. There were Tiger fans in Vancouver & all over Mt.Ranier. Every Tiger fan we talked to loved it out there. The only bitching was over those shitty endzones seats.
we made them open 2 hours early on Friday

The ones that started 50 yards from the back of the endzone because of the track.

As said, tons of lsu fans. Hell, I flew into Portland (to met a friend) and that plane was 1/3 lsu. And yes, that plane ran out of liquor. Our stewardess thought we were m joking when we were ordering whiskey at 8 am

it's funny, that's the first thing that comes to mind when I think of that stadium, they still have wooden bleachers?

We rented a giant boat in the harbor and booze cruised. Probably 3/4ths of the boats in that harbor next to the stadium were LSU themed.

We did the sailgating thing and it was AWESOME. It was one of those things ill never forget, tailgating on a yacht and walking off a dock up to the stadium.
