Not sure but I remember Ranaudo striking out at least 9 straight against UK

ETA: Ranaudo had 15 that night. Ainsworth had 16 back in '99 I believe. Laxton had 16 too

Henry just set a new career-high with his 10th strikeouts.
It's also a season high for #LSU pitchers

Doesn’t really answer your question but that’s all I’ve seen come up on Twitter

17 by Scott Schultz against Maine in 1995.

ETA: Unless this LINK is wrong

Interestingly enough, that same link says the team record is 20 in a game against Florida. Some posters below are saying 24, but I’m guessing 1959 was before that link captured stats.

Don’t know if it’s the record but pretty sure Laxton had 16 in the 93 CWS final.

Edit: 17 it is. Didn’t know about that one. Good info.

Edit again: 24 is absolutely ridiculous.

Russell Springer and Eddie Yarnell had 14 and 13 respectively.

Lane Mestepey threw about 200 pitches a game, so he's my bet.

Wallace “Butch” Mixon struck out 24 in a game then went on to pitch for the Astro’s back in the day

Butch Mixon (LSU) holds the most strikouts in a game with 24 against ULL in 1959

Peever was about as good of a pitcher for one season with the different bats as I’ve ever seen.

For 1992, he transferred to LSU and posted a 14-0 win-loss record, a 1.98 ERA, three complete games and a shutout in 17 appearances (15 starts). In 104.2 innings, he allowed only 67 hits and 20 walks, while striking out 116 batters. His campaign, dubbed "one of the best individual seasons ever in college baseball,"[2]
