Rickey was as tough as Butkus. Rickey played with no pads in his pants. He said it would just slow him down. Still my favorite Saints player ever.

In his book, about his times at LSU, he said that Brown, in desperation, roomed the 2 of them together one semester. Shaq said "many many mornings as I was leaving for class, Stanley was just coming in". Said it "was like talking to a stone wall".

Is the dungeon the old armory gym just east of the pmac? If so, yes. Used to stop by after racquetball and play in pick up games. They got serious. I stuck to the outside.

This.

I remember “CLASS B” being listed on my schedule in fall 87 or 88 and not knowing where the hell that was.

I remember they showed up in my bar occasionally. Stanley Roberts was there one time and getting a lot of attention when someone said something like can we take a pic with you Shaq or something and he got pissed off.

I don’t think Shaq drank, he ordered water and wanted to pay for it. When the bartenders explained we didn’t charge for water in case someone was a designated driver etc, he told the bartender ok, then it’s a tip. (5 bucks)

He told my wife “ little white girl you are in my seat” once too.

Good dude there , had a speech class with him and Kyle McKenzie.

Mike and I always shot the shite after class as he was headed to practice right after class.

Nah good, just didn't take an ounce of shite.

Also, would strongly urge against saying that in his presence.
