We're traveling to the game. If you know any points of interest around that area let it be heard.

calhoun's on the river is pretty cool. tailgating is pretty lame overall. the campus is very hilly too, so it is not easy to walk around.

Been in '88, '01, & '06.

Go find a party boat on the river for a good tailgate.

Tailgating is almost non-existent except for the boats on the river. I remember one UT fan commenting that "LSU fans will tailgate anywhere" when he saw us set up behind their basketball arena.

I hope you weigh 120 lbs, the seats are the smallest of any stadium I have ever been in, don't plan on sitting much, you have to take turns.

just don't stand up in the stadium! if you do you'll lose your seat! Tiger Stadium would hold 125k if we had seats that small!

I agree, the seats were made for twelve year olds & the steps are really steep & narrow.

You'll be hearing "Rocky Top" in your sleep for a month

Tennessee fans look at you like you are crazy if you want to start a conversation or say hi as you walk by their tailgate, if you can find one.

the stadium sucks... it really does. small seats and the visitors section makes you feel like you are watching from the other side of the river.

but, yeah, I'll be there. ;-)

At the last game I went to in Neyland the Tennessee fans we were sitting next to said that when they renovated the stadium to bring it to +100k, they didn't actually add any new seats, all they did was strip the old seat numbers off, and scoot them closer together.
