Yes, I do care. It gives us a chance to see some of the freshman that didn’t get any playing time. For example…Taron Francis, Charles Ross, etc

Bowl games are always fun when we get to show that an sec team having a bad year or a mid level sec team is still better than a “good” team from another conference

That depends on who is playing tn the NFL game. Personally, I don't give squat about most of them. Actually, it doesn't matter which NFL teams will be playing, I will be watching the LSU Tigers.

I mostly want to see what young guys we have on the roster and what they can do. Good exhibition game for them regardless of outcomes.

If you don't care now, you'll still be wishing for horrible football like this in 6 months!

I’m sure the seniors who never will get to strap it up and play the game that they’ve been playing since they were 7 feel the same way.
frick off with that.

I do. I like the game of football. Like to see wide receivers catching the ball, hard hits, good blocking, defensive backs playing the ball etc...

Not if they have a chance of getting drafted. You're going to risk getting hurt in some shite bag bowl game in front of 30k , as opposed to making the league rookie minimum 850k ? Frick that stupid bowl game crap. Look how pitiful the attendance has been. Riverdale and Bonnabel playing at Joe Yenni out draws many of these bowls. The WKU/SoMiss game was pathetic. That game should be moved to Yulman or Tad Gormley. So, yeah, I would opt out, and get ready for the pros, and an opportunity. Dont give me this "not a team player" crap, because that's BS. These dudes are getting paid now.

Don’t really care, but it’s the Tigers, so I’m watching.

NIL/portal/opt-outs has F’d up bowl game participation.

paid for putting an incredibly shitty product on the field, then deciding not to show up for work and do what I'm getting paid to do, cake and eat it too much?

I will never understand why people on an LSU website would post on said website their humble brag about their disinterest in an LSU football game.

Its like they are trying to shame others into disinterest as well.

But, yeah, I'm going to the game. I get to 2-3 a year, and this one is going to be an hour away, in a dome with easy parking, great seats, and even (gasp) tailgating if its anything like last year. Perhaps if I lived in BR and had season tickets, I would feel differently about a five hour drive, but I would still be in front of the TV at 815pm.
