imagine if paramedics were called to the scene for everyone like this guy on Bourbon St.? Better yet, imagine the scene in the ER

Why imagine it? Just head down to NOLA Feb. 18-21, in an "observational capacity" only.

I know you weren't being serious, but assault isn't one of the crimes that can qualify as a hate crime according to that list.

The video is a fascinating example of mob mentality though. One group of people doing/actively or tacitly supporting acts they'd probably usually never would do because.the victim is a member of another "group."
Would be good for a psych class since there is video and everything.

what? why not? that was most definitely sexual assault. he should definitely have to register as a sex offender. then maybe he'd think twice before sexual assaulting someone else.

how can you defend that NOT being sexual assault?

So you view this guy the same as a rapist, child molester, etc.?

As far as hate crimes go, is it a hate crime when bloods and crips kill each other?

And no I'm not defending him. Don't care what punishment he gets. Just think ppl are way over the top with this shite because it was "rival fans".

Unfortunately for those charged with a "hate crime," the law as written is so broad and poorly written it applies to about anything. Really the law looks applicable but not within the "spirit" of its adoption. This is why people shouldn't be so excited about passing feel food legislation. Dumb results are guaranteed

This should serve an incentive to not get shite-faced drunk and pass out.

Not to defend the Bama fans but come on guys. We have all done stupid shite on Bourbon street. I have seen LSU fans do worse things to each other multiple times. I guess nooooo one that is bashing this guy ever did anything stupid when they were drunk.

What is going on? If this is private, why do you have it on TD? Why don't you start your own "infamous video" website?

Also identified are the young blonde girl and her boyfriend who were in the majority of the video. The main perp who exposed himself and assaulted the victim has now been identified also. Please continue to post comments and any information to the group. We will keep the group open until the parties are arrested and/or charged. Once again, thanks to everyone for the great effort!!!

I saw the news reports yesterday afternoon on this, and all I could think was if I was the teabaggee, I would just be praying that this goes away. "Stop playing the video, WDSU!!!!" I would scream at the TV. Talk about embarrassing... I'm almost embarrassed that this drunk fool is an LSU fan. Aren't we supposed to be known for being able to handle our liquor?

Finebaum and another caller are making fun of the teabagger fiend on his show right now...

Caller said if he were the Bama fan, 'he'd be too embarrassed to put something that small on display...'

Finebaum added, "If you're gonna do that on video for the world to see, you better at least 'bring some game with you'...."

You are missing out. One night I sat in the very spot where the guy passed out for about an hour. All I did was watch people pass by and it was very entertaining. Might have had to do with the shrooms but I can't say for sure.

The Gump placed his genitals into the passed out guy's mouth. I assume there was no consent.

Where I come from that is called sexual assault.

This is from the facebook group. Is this true about Updyke and JJ?

quote:

In the past 12 months ex Texas State Trooper Harvey Updyke poisons the trees in Auburn, then Updyke gets a free room and tickets to the game. Then Updyke signs autographs and takes pictures with Bama fans and treated like a hero. That loser a hero? Then the day of the game on Mobile sports talk radio 105.5 Jordan Jefferson gets called a lousy n*@@#r on live radio by a Bama fan. Then later you have the incident at Krystal's. I know you can't judge a whole fan base by a few people, but the number of incidents are starting to add up. A large group of Bama fans need to wake up and realize that there is more to life then football and mythical national championships. Just because the team you root for wins it doesn't mean YOU are not a loser. All these incidents point to a serious lack of education and self worth.

there are varying degrees of sexual assault and as such should have different punishments. This case i do view as sexual assault and he should register as a sex offender. A rapists should be castrated and a child molester should get teh death penalty.
