Is he even in the transfer portal?
This is probably not related to football, but it would be pretty sloppy if he announced he was transferring to a different school without ever entering the portal. Pretty sure, technically, guys have to enter the portal before they can talk to other schools. Without him entering the portal, I think it would be pretty easy to show tampering.

For Marcel yes. I think they're trying to figure out the numbers and how it would work.
He had no info on Ika. I think I want Ika back just as much and since he never left the team, he wouldn't count against the 25 in this class, whereas I think Marcel would.

I don't understand this logic, why would Marcel count against this class? He was already counted in a previous class. Do transfers count against our 25?

I’m not sure how he wouldn’t count. Isn’t he enrolled at another school?
I don’t think the fact that he used to play here would matter. A transfer is a transfer.

If Ika opted out and did not leave school as long as coaches ket him back he is back.
Marcel is different because he would have to count against the 25 this year or last year because he is not a graduate transfer. New rules on transfer might be different this year. I don't know.
