He’s never started a game or played extended snaps. They were 1a and 1b according to Kelly and there’s no reason not to play him in the second half today unless you’re shielding Daniels.

Why does he need to transfer? It's not possible for every QB on the roster to be the future starter. Some are there to be the backup.

I don't know what people see in that guy to believe that he's the cure for this offense.

Who said he was the cure? People want the team to win and Daniels is clearly not helping the team compete on offense and think its worth giving Nuss a shot, especially when you consider that Kelly said Nuss was almost the starter over Daniels. Also, Nuss brings very different skillset, namely the ability to throw downfield.

Its at least time to give him some meaningful snaps, at minimum.

Exactly. Unless he knows Nuss will be leaving and JD5 will be next year's starter. I do not think I could bear it.

This team is not going to win anything. That should've been apparent 10 minutes into the FSU game.

If this o-line actually gets some consistent push by the end of the year I'd consider that a success. This is a transitional year. The problem is people have unrealistic expectations.

So then you are OK with JD5 being the starter. I am not. If Nuss is that bad, he needs to leave to give the scholarship to someone else. Can you imagine this kind of crap QB play next year as well?

I would consider your argument. How many positions are stronger than last season prior to injuries.
Special team?
QB?
RB?
WR?
LB?
DL?
CB?

QB may be better but he is a fourth year starter.

I have difficulty believing that he is a worse QB than JD5.

Must have a mobile QB even if he can’t throw

Great, then develop the younger players on the team and stop wasting snaps on guys who have already hit their ceiling yet still dont give us anything.

Again, then why not use this season to get the inexperienced players some experience? Why are we wasting QB snaps on guys with 3+ years as a starter and 40+ starts? What is Daniels supposed to do that he wasn't able to do already? He was highly rated as a 4 star out of HS then started his true freshman year-junior year at ASU and got worse every year.

Explain to me what he done thus far to make you believe there's some ability there that can only be unlocked with more experience because it seems he's had enough by now.

With Nuss, he hasn't been allowed to even experience one single start.

Is Nuss the answer? No idea, but I dont know why the hell he cant be given a shot in a throwaway season. Wasting snaps on Daniels isn't getting anyone anywhere.

Why is this just so difficult for people to see. Daniels will not improve. God forbid he start for LSU next year.

he is not. there is a reason canada liked him. he learned from him and brady. torched 3 defenses befroe getting hurt and was not bad in cleanup time in 2019. brady let him run full offense late especially against GSU. he looked good. he had zero help in 2020 with all the political BS and quitters on the defense that did not want to play for pellini.

brennan could throw downfield and hit targets in stride.

Because the coach hasn’t written off the season yet …wants to give the starting quarterback as maybe reps as possible to improve
