I did this. It was fun.
How were the WA fans? The Ducks were boring.

Washington fans were a class act. Loved the tailgating atmosphere. Just bummed their team has a ways to go.

already bookmarked, waiting for your novel!

remember this is the rant.
some ranturds will pick you apart b/c this is the only place in their whole lives that they can beat on people anonymously. they will criticize your spelling, grammar, punctuation and your team.

for this assignment, you gotta be strong.

i do hope yall had a great time.
and, in advance, thank you and frick the ranturds.

I don't even know where to begin, do ya'll want a novel, just a recap of Baton Rouge, or just the cliff notes?

hahaha... so I'll explain why it took so long. I don't have a phone still! The way I accessed this before was my phone, I just jumped on at work yesterday and then obviously checked my email (priorities on the order ) and then after going through about 300 emails I realized it was 6PM and wifey was at home with our 10 week old with dinner ready. I sincerely apologize on the delay. FYI, it was a man trip, my wife and baby didn't come.

So, yeah, jumped off the plane and met up with my buddy Storey (appropriate name, right?) and we go to the hotel first (ambassador). We cannot check in, but we precheck in and drop our stuff off. Go to Cafe and get our pre-binge meal on. At this point we are the only two out of our immediate group of 4 b/c my brother is still on a plane and Mike is also travelling still. So, we decide to sit on the banks of the Mississippi and enjoy and build excitement for what is coming. Make it to our first bar (the swamp) about 20 min before they open. Then insert bar scene... noon - 4AM. We ride the bull, game on girls, etc. Standard procedure. Little browning out, bits and pieces the main point is that we ended up at the casino. I remember playing some slots with my brother, getting a few more drinks. I wake up at 7AM and I'm in bed. There was never a point where I went back after 3PM to actually get a room key.. so not really sure how this happened.

I look over and Storey is passed out in the chair trying to get the jambox to play country music with sportcenter blasting on the TV. Mike is passed out in the bathtub. I look over and say... Storey, where the F is my brother. He's like, "dude, no clue, I've been sitting here since 10PM. I got really drunk". OK, do you know where my phone is? "No". Then the room phone starts ringing and I answer it. It's my brother, Kris, "Dude... I've been walking a while... what F'ing room are we in?"

Night 1 = success! However, at this point we find out Kris doesn't have his phone either!!!! Or debit card. This is actually the best thing that could have happened to a just graduated, about to move to NYC person, b/c we ended up fronting a lot of drinks.

Logic evades us and at 11AM I said... OK iPhone locator activated, we are going to Bourbon street to find my phone! Running on fumes we drunkenly stumble around and check all the bars on the block it said it was on and I put a lock on it and then the battery died on it. What's the next logical step? Head to Swamp and try and get in the same frame of mind I lost it in! About 1PM we decide that we really need some food. We ended up at Coops and grubbed on so much food.

After coops we got some more Cafe O'lait and sat again by the Mississippi. However we were in a much more rowdy mood. It took some convincing but we got my brother not to jump in. We then decide to put the hammer down and start this adventure again! After some more swamp action we actually ventured out and made it up on some balconies, hung with some other friends that were down there, etc.

about 1AM is where this night gets interesting. I begin to have cognative thoughts and we are walking down bourbon street and I cannot find my brother. So, Storey and I just say, well, he will find his way... he did last night! We decide it's food time! Our favorite bartender tells us we have to take a left out of the Swamp and head towards Canal St and a few blocks down take a left and there is a sandwich shop on the left hand side a few businesses down by the pizza place. We try that and boy howdy! those were ridic! Storey and I continue our walk to Canal to head back to the hotel and we get approached by a couple of girls from NYC. Storey instantly throws down his sandwich and begins to game on them. I decide (and maybe it's that I'm 300lbs) that nothing is getting in the way of this sandwich and I politely tell them that they will have my full attention once the sandwich is gone. Next thing I know I'm at the Bourbon Cowboy, sandwich gone, two really beautiful girls on the horizon and one hell of a wingman game that I need to pull.
