we'll need to stop the run

The most overlooked reason we lost three straight last year. You don't give up 800 rushing yards in three games and win.

This post made me go watch the first two offensive series by us on youtube. Man that offense looked so much more smooth.

I fully expect Fournette to have at least 200 rushing yards. Wouldn't surprise me if he gets close to 300 total yards.

Don't you think that will be the ONE thing they try and do?

Part of the reason this board melts every time something doesn't go our way is because yall set yourselves up with these unrealistic expectations. This board spewed the same nonsense about "going in dry" 2 years ago right before we fell behind 24-7. Wisconsin is a good team, and we still have no idea what to expect from our passing attack.

Spot on

Wisconsin will be disciplined on both sides of the ball and will challenge us to throw. It'd make things a lot easier on Fournette if Harris can get some easy completions and make them cover our talented WR's.

Horrible officiating crew?

That Auburn game was a solid win. One of my favorites.

I expect this game to be about 24-17.

Wisconsin will try to run between the tackles on Aranda. And Wisconsin will look to exploit the TE/HB position on your linebackers with some play action.

20-10 end of the first half
34-10 final

Miles will not intentionally run the score up.

From CBS Sports

"7. LSU vs. Wisconsin (Lambeau Field), Sept. 3 -- This is a neutral site game only in theory as the crowd will be heavily in favor of the Badgers in Green Bay. Wisconsin quietly posted a 10-3 record in 2015 and figures to be a contender for the Big Ten West crown again in 2016. Facing the Badgers in a hostile environment should provide a good test for the Tigers, who are among the preseason national title favorites. Fans of the power running game should be looking forward to this matchup, which will prominently feature running backs Leonard Fournette and Corey Clement."

i just feel like va tech was the last time we truly dominated a good opponent. i just don't get that vibe from les anymore. its' more like "well, let's just go out there and stay out of our own way and take care of the ball, let our d and special teams make a few plays, and coast out of here with a solid 21-14 win." if these guys can get re-conditioned into wanting to kick the shite out of their opponents (especially teams they SHOULD handle) i think it raises the ceiling, particularly for this year's team.

more 2007 virginia tech and 2005 miami, less towsons and eastern michigans

When is the last time Va Tech won a really big game? I don't watch them too much, so I could be wrong, but it feels like every time they have a marquee matchup they lose.
