After Hess & Watson weren't taken in the top 10 rounds...almost EVERYONE thinks both of them are coming back next year (even if drafted
With the year they both had they can't possibly do worse next year and hurt their draft stock anymore then they did this year. It can only help them to come back. I think they'll both have good showings next year.

Feduccia would be a Senior in 2019. He knows that we have 3 new catchers coming in. Personally, I think he's gone.
No big loss. I was extremely disappointed in every aspect of Feduccias game

Exactly. Except the risk of getting less. He’ll get $125 this year. 10 or less next year. Not peanuts but not life changing either
So basically he would be paying 115k to enjoy his senior year at his alma mater, play with his teammates an extra year and possibly set records and improve his draft stock.
You can always make another 115K in your life especially with a college degree so I don't see why he would give up everything I stated above for that little bit of money. You can't just buy your senior year of college and the experience of playing with your teammates

If he's giving up $115k by staying another year, how is that improving his draft stock?

Right, like I said, some players will see that as a good value proposition but most probably won't. Will Duplantis? We don't know.

That’s what I’m saying. We’re saying the same thing lol

WHAT? Feduccia and Duplantis are the only two in your list that were drafted

Does he sign now and use the little leverage he has or does he return for another season and then be forced to sign whatever contract he is offered?
After the 10th round, every pick is valued at 125K. He was far from the 10th. The best thing for him to do is come back and crush it to move up much higher than where he was drafted.

I should have been more specific. I meant potentially improving his draft stock. There's value in the potential to try again.

I know. I wasn't arguing with you. I was supporting your point.
