Well no shite. Why would they?

That's doesn't excuse the behavior, doesn't excuse he fact that he didn't go to the coaches or that you're the leader of the team and knowingly committed a crime.. I said it earlier in this thread..Miles needs to hold constant meeting on how to deal with problems.. Have one guy in the department be a liaison between lsu athletics and the police and explain to these young men that you don't have to trust the cops but you do need to trust us and we will take care of you.

I may be mistaken but I thought I read mention of up to 6 individuals in LSU gear returning to retrieve the stolen gear. Excuse me if I am wrong on this

Someone way earlier in this thread implied one of them was 'a cornerback not currently with the team but hoping to rejoin the team next year.'

Don't know how true that is, but I hope for RR's sake he was talking out of his arse.

I didnt/dont think Jennings parents are incapable of buying for him. I think it is unlikely that they bought it for him.

Good lord man. When i was in college we all had decent cars and xbox/tv and nice clothes. Why do you think it would be UNLIKELY for AJ's parents to buy him $1500 worth of stuff.

You must have a case of the poor. Because $1500 is simply not that much money to spend on your very successful son.

You're a strange guy with a strange way of thinking about this topic.

apparently he wasnt a thief.

he bought the items from "dudabro" or some other shite.

that was the thief.

So Ajand crew decided to then go commit a crime on an unsuspecting kid.

You can't claim ignorance when buying a $650+ Macbook air off Craig's list and act like you didn't know it was stolen.

Same thing as when Cam bought the stolen laptop while at UF. It was blatantly obvious to anyone with a brain that those things were stolen. Buying black market stuff is a crime. I hope you do realize that.

Hence why he was arrested a week ago for possession of stolen goods.

They can trust in one thing that is universally known regardless of where you grew up...a cop will arrest you every time they catch you breaking into a home that does not belong to you.

I can understand the trepidation of a young man when being pulled over by the police, but when one has things stolen, it makes absolutely no sense to me not engaging the police before doing what these idiots did. That is unless it was stolen in the first place.

Your point earlier claimed they attacked some unknowing guy's apartment. Fact is the guy admitted already to buying stolen goods.

There are better ways to get your stuff back, and the players messed up, but people are acting like this was some robbery at gunpoint shite.

Was it stupid? Yes. Should it result in any of those players being kicked off the team? No. A suspension? Yes, of course.

In the end, these petty burglars (the ones that stole the stuff in the first place) are smart because they know as long as they don't steal anything of great value, because it basically tells the cops to not give a crap, which they don't.

They'll claim to not have the resources to do this or have bigger problems, but then all that does is allow this crap to keep happening, because unless the crook is utterly stupid, they have almost nothing to worry about.

You guys keep throwing a monetary value on this, AND THAT IS NOT THE POINT. My assumption has everything to do with propensity in which college football players get these sort of things. Why would parents need to buy that stuff for them when it will probably be given to them at one point or another as a perk for being a college athlete. I know $1500 isnt shite and Im not saying that these kids parents couldnt buy their babies $1500 worth of shite. Im saying it's not likely when it's known that they will be given cool stuff all the time. So when I say Jefferson had 33 pairs of shoes and it's unlikely that he or his family bought that, and more likely that he got that many pairs of shoes because he was associated with LSU athletics. I dont know how I can be more clear on this because Im regurgitating the same thing over and over yet you people keep making it about me assuming it's because his family is poor or something when I never have and dont assume that at all.

My view at the start of all this: "I wonder how he acquired all of that property that was stolen. Was it given to him, and if so was it improperly given to him? I wonder if there is more to this" That's it. That was my entire point.

The Rant: "What the frick man? You dont think his family can afford that? You think he's from a broken home or something? Are you frickin racist? Did you even have Christmas growing up as a child? Why are you so racist? Youre being a piece of shite..."

It's pretty ridiculous honestly.
