Another Offseason Thread: Your Personal Top 5 Plays During the 2019 LSU Football Season

This doesn't have to be what you think were the most important plays of the year. Just the ones that flash through your mind and will always flash through your mind in the future when you think of the 2019 LSU football team.
5. Joe Burrow's Circus Play vs Georgia in the SEC Championship
The only play on my list that didn't result in a touchdown. This was a play that most of us thought, "there's no way he's going to get out of this" as UGA's defense crashed in on Burrow, but then he exhibits a complete freak display of athleticism that more than likely cemented his Heisman.
4. Clyde Edwards-Helaire's Game-Sealing TD Run @ Alabama
Clyde's refusal to go down in the Tigers' last touchdown of the game just perfectly represented LSU's refusal to lose to this team for the 9th straight time. Historic performance.
3. Burrow to Chase's Opening TD Strike @ Alabama
This wasn't the play that clinched the win at all. But it sent a shockwave throughout Bryant Denny. After this team could not muster up a single point for 2 seasons against the Tide defense, we were the ones who striked first. The first ones to punch the other in the mouth for a change after nearly a decade of abysmal offensive showings in this game. After this play, I think everyone knew this game would be different than LSU-Alabama games in recent history.
2. 3rd & 17 - Burrow to Jefferson @ Texas
Not much needs to be said about this play. I think we all knew this could be the start of something magical. This was touchdown #9...of 60.
1. Burrow to Marshall/Calling For The Ring
The moment we knew it was happening. There was still 12 minutes left in the game. But I after this play, I think everyone knew Clemson, like no college football team in the country, had no answer for LSU's offense. Burrow calling for his ring moments after throwing his last touchdown in a LSU uniform just shows he knew it it, too. I can't watch this play without having a shite-eating grin on my face, and it'll be like that for a long time.

The shoe string catch by CEH during the Bama game is the play of the year.

I disagree, if we have to punt after that 3rd and 17 were in a really bad spot there

Your compilation is exactly what I would choose, so I'll piggyback off of yours.

Isn’t it great to “argue” about which five plays were the best on offense???

The one that sticks in my mind is Burrow's pass in the 1st qtr against UGA that was blocked. He caught his own pass and ran it nearly 20 yards for a 1st down. Not sure how that scored on stats, but that was my favorite play for the year.

5. Derek Stingley's two picks against Georgia.
4. Jacoby Stevens one-handed interception against Miss St.
3. Chase dagger TD against Florida in the 4th quarter.
2. 3rd and 17.
1. CEH's last TD vs Bama to seal the game (suck it Trevon Diggs).

The play that really put me at ease the most all year was the 1st td pass to Chase against Clemson. That play just put me at ease.
Before that they were down 10-0, we were doing nothing offensively while backed up inside the 10 the entire game to that point. I was getting one of those feelings we as fans get sometimes that things just aren't going our way today. I was legit nervous for the 1st time since the start of the Bama game.
That pass just eased my nerves and told me that we are here to play and just getting started. Reinforced that confidence that our offense was just too good to outscore. As a fan those "oh shite" nerves can be damn right debilitating when at their worse. I was relieved after that pass.

That's fricking hard to do.
CEH had 4 or 5 of my top plays vs Bama: shoestring catch, first down with the entire Bama team on his back, spin move TD run, TD pass to CEH and the Game closer TD run. That Game was a CEH highlight reel.
How 'bout I list my favorite moments instead:
1. Joe's parade/pageant wave (I grew up a tiger fan in Austin)
2. RTWFU
3a. Joe's ring
3b. Justin's finger counting
5. Every "Geaux Tigahs" from CEO.

Not a scoring run but still one of my favorites
CEH with that first down run against Bama with 1:20 to go where he was carrying several players and got like 11 yards allowing LSU to go to victory formation.

That spin move CEH made before walking in the EZ against Bama.
I can never watch it enough.
