kinda disappointed in Patterson. He really looked like he was pissed after the shot, 0 reaction from him
Felt the same way. In his defense, didn't he hit like 7 in the game? He was feeling it I guess.
However, glad Keith got redemption from the UK game.

1st off......great write up OP. Excellent
2nd.....shut the frick up about Pattersons response. Not everyone is an emotional nutcase cheerleader like Marshall henderson. The dude has the same demeanor......always. now we want people to emotionally respond as we would........just shite the frick up with this idiotic bullshite

Clutch shot. But if he misses it do coaches get the blame?

Coach Jones likes to leave 0% chance to lose the game in those situations. A charge sends Arkansas to the line and a made layup leaves a second or two on the clock. He plays the last play of the half the same way. He would settle for a 5% shot if he had to make sure the other team can't answer.
So you think CJJ doesn't want us to make a layup that gives us the lead if it's going to leave 1 or 2 seconds on the clock??????? Stratospheric idiocy.
You say CJJ would settle for a 5% shot to make sure we can't lose? A 5% shot is basically a half court shot - so you think JJ would prefer us taking a half-court shot with 1 second left??? Are you brain-dead??
Nearly all coaches in that situation would tell their team to put up the shot with 3-4 seconds left to give us a chance at the quick put back. If Arky rebounds, they only have a couple seconds left and are 94 feet away.
And nearly all coaches want their player to go toward the rim in that situation. Either finish, draw a foul, or dish. Put the pressure on the defense.
Saying JJ is scared of losing the game, when we HAVE THE DAMN BALL ON THE LAST POSSESSION, is just nonsense.

I still think the best play ive seen the staff draw up is the baseline out-of-bounds play they ran vs Butler last year.

quote:Have you watched our games this year? Last year? The year before? Please recount for me all of the games where we went for an early shot when the score was tied. We have a ton of attempts at the buzzer in those situations.

I can't take your basketball analysis seriously considering you think a player control foul results in free throws.
