Hire Archie Miller from Dayton
He played at NC State and has coached at several other schools
and he's young. It would be an improvement over what we have now.

It will be hard for LSU to fire him. Notice the multiple references he made to increased game attendance both at home and away as compared to last year. He will argue that he has continued to raise interest in basketball. In other words, results don't matter, it's all about raising interest and selling tickets. He is no different than the other poor performing spin doctor hype promoting coaches who will say anything to save their jobs.
Performance and results are not important, its all about the hype.
In regards to not participating in the NIT, the lack of humility and determination to fight on no matter what the circumstances is an embarrassment to LSU.

LSU is getting what it asked for. JJ was barely .500 in league at N. Texas. What high major hires a .500 Coach from a mid major? LSU will need a better Coach to get them thru next season after Losing Hornsby, Simmons, Quarterman and I believe Blakeney.Even if Blakeney stays along with the other returnees and new recruits you can't expect better results next season. IMO, JJ Under achieved in back-to-back years with an epic collapse this season.

I would assume so, given the way you asked the question. Come on man. We didn't make it to the NCAA tournament with the #1 recruit in the Nation. Then we decline an opportunity to play in the NIT. That's crazy. What kid on that team would not love an opportunity to play in a tournament. Basketball is what they do. The kids want to play.

I don't care how big he says the crowds were this year. Next year the average attendance will be less than half.
If Blakeney doesn't get at least a 2nd round draft grade, I think he comes back just so he can be the alpha dog and put up beaucoup stats.

It'd take at least $3 million a year to convince Miller to leave Dayton for LSU knowing it'd take him three years to right the ship. We'd have to hire top-10 level coach pay knowing Dayton would come back and counter with a $1 million raise.
