How about our Coach is so invested in his program that he’s giving his own friggin income. What’s their Coach doing?

Mike Norvel at FSU is deferring 4.5 million of his salary. I think Gundy at Oklahoma State is contributing some of his salary as well.

Yep that went a long way with me after this year. OK, you're serious then? LFG!

Just got this email from LSU.

I’m a lazy arse, admittedly. The first email caught my attention…

Season ticket holder here that spends a lot of our hard earned money in TAF fees, travel for games, memorabilia and apparel, tailgating - you get it. I often see people bitching about “us” being the ones to have to carry the burden and I understand - even agreed at first. It’s a shite economy, there’s shite everywhere that sucks. What college football has become sucks. But the proudest legacy I was given to me by my parents is a love for LSU Football.

It took me out of my bubble on Saturdays and introduced me to Louisiana culture. I remember the days when winning wasn’t expected many Saturdays a season. We’d eat, have pickup football games with adjoining tailgate kids, and enjoy the vibes. That palpable feeling that I still get every time I step on campus on game day aa I expose my kids to it.

Those expectations have shifted in our glory years, and the NIL landscape is fluid. Sorry for the sappiness but all this to say - if you feel the same way about it, there’s nobody better served to give than “us”. This second match made me take action.

I can’t offer much - but my love for LSU Football and the hope of maintaining the standard I’ve been blessed to watch develop brings me a hell of a lot more joy than an overpriced lunch during the workweek, a coffee or smoothie stop, etc. I’ll gladly give some of those up every now and then for some of the best days of the calendar year: LSU Game days.

Weezy.
He’s an acting as a double agent and reinvesting the share of the money he gets from players on other teams who sign on to his agency into LSU’s NIL collective.

LSU has a billionaire booster who I don't think has ever been mentioned on this site. Not saying it was him but has all the hallmarks of something he'd do.

My guess is Shaq. He doesn't need the pub. Great ambassador for LSU.
