Yeah that was pretty cool, but GD It made me feel old seeing Andy Pettitte with grey hair rooting for his adult son.

For those who don’t know Andy Pettitte was born in Baton Rouge. His dad was a cop in the 70 and 80’s.

I learned a whole lot about him growing up on the Tunnel to Towers commercial.

He and his family moved to Houston when he was in the 4th grade. I played with him and graduated high school with him in 1990.

That was really great the way The Advocate would post stats for LA players in the Sunday sports section.

Makes you feel old.....we lived across the street from him in Deer Park when his son was born. We gave them a Cajun blanket for the baby.....Andy was born in BR.....dont think his wife appreciated it.

His grandmaw was from Fordoche. Some really great players of Italian decent from that little town in the 40’s, 50’s that scouts went to see according to one of my close friends from that area. I read a newspaper article he gave showed me about those players. If you looked at Andy, he looks Italian.
