Personally I don’t care who tickles his pickle, the dude is a good coach. However with all the recent smoke around the athletic department, he is untouchable. Unless LSU hires Sean Payton as AD. He would hire Andy as a F U to the SEC.

Not in the current environment; otherwise, I believe in second chances. But I’ve got to believe that there are other really good options out there without the baggage. Many people know baseball; we need a change of mood(not the best choice of words-but just took my first sip of coffee). Players want to play for LSU and at the Box, not PM.

The reality is at one time LSU was the king of college baseball. Then it fell to the king of the SEC and now its middle of the pack of the SEC.
Sure there have been seasons that have been better and worse than that trend but this is where we are. And for some of us it just doesn't cut it.
We have two very good front line pitchers and one really good bat, one good bat, one decent bat, one adequate bat and the rest are pretty much below average. We have no chance against these pitchers, none.
This is the case every year under Maneri. What happens against Vandy? Same deal guys. We don't hit them. We are second tier SEC now.
Great fans, eroding tradition, a bunch of hype and not too much real baseball power anymore

This sinner definitely would not NOT hire him because of his indiscretions, but it just seems too risky with LSU seemingly being under a microscope now in the new, woke world.

Scott Woodward hired Chris Pederson at UW and Jimbo Fisher and Buzz Williams at A&M. If he has to replace PM, he’s going to go big. He’s not going to hire a guy who got run like Andy did. And I think Andy is really good coach who will likely get a second chance somewhere. But it won’t be at a top program like LSU.
