Have you compared this to last year after the same number of games?
Posted on 3/22/15 at 7:43 pm to ChEgrad
at least Andy Cannizaro is using the hitting machines not letting them rust like javi.

Any word on how Javi is enjoying his new career path?

I love LSU baseball. I'm hoping this will be an NC year. The team and coaching both seem really strong this year.

He is a financial planner. He has several pro ball players and is managing their money, including several LSU players. Good for him. Happy he is doing well.

Not a Javi defender, Mr. Broski. It is just too early to tell, but I like a lot of what I see so far.

We've probably tried to steal more than 74 times already this year.

Hale just seems to have gotten stronger.
A number of our players have.
I was just thinking the other day that Laird looks significantly more filled out.

As Ell said this team has alot of experience, next year will show how good Andy is.
But don't forget base running, we steal on everyone and we don't make nearly as many mistakes in the base paths

The title of this thread should be changed to 'Andy Cannizaro Appreciates The New Baseball' thread.

what specifically is different? looks the same to my untrained eye tbh
Here's my take. JS taught to throw the hands at the ball. This style makes you have to swing real early for fastballs and wait longer for offspeed pitches. It also doesn't generate maximum power. AC has more of a rotational style which keeps the hands close to the back shoulder longer and follows the hips which keeps the bat in the zone longer. It makes it easier to adjust to off speed pitches. You don't have to adjust the timing of your swing as much with fastballs and off speed pitches. It also generates more power.
