He could probably still start at West Monroe, I don't think he's aged out yet.

He's probably selling cars now or some shite. He didn't look too smart but he was an bull dozer.
They shared more than cigars. He's a safety guy for Exxon in BR and married to Whitworth's ex-wife (who is hotter than his current wife).

Jackie Slater started for the Rams at OT at 40. Also had a start at 41.

How many other players from the 2003 team are still even in the NFL much less starting?

Donnie Jones and Kyle Williams retired after the 2018 season. Those two were the last active guys AFAIK.

And you gotta wonder if Laron has outgrown even the linemen by now.

I could be mistaken but think he may have also started his entire 3-4 years at LSU. I also had it in my head that he was a lefty that played at LT, not sure if that part is accurate or if even noteworthy for the position.

To be that age and have to deal with edge rushers at NFL level in today’s era is crazy.

He was named the starter at LT as a redshirt freshman before the first game of the season against Virginia Tech in 2002, and started every game at LT throughout his career, his last game being against Miami in the 2005 Peach Bowl. By the time he left LSU, he had the record for most starts for an LSU football player. This has since been broken, I believe.

This is all from memory.

Ciron broke his starts record.

We had 2 LTs for 8 years. We had 4 this year alone.

He may have become the GOAT as an offensive lineman. I've always Anthony Munoz was the GOAT but AW may have surpassed him.

He is maybe the most under appreciated dominant player ever.

Start 4 years at LSU winning a NC, but is never an All American. Goes in the second round to play Guard.

Finally get his shot at LT and dominates but doesn’t make his first All Pro team till 8 years I to His career.

Ultimate tactician . Never blows off the line . Technical wizard. The only lineman I make a point to watch .
