Yeah I am kinda torn but I gotta go with Burrow, Chase, and Shelvin. I bet all the recruits were watching the Bengals this weekend. If Burrow and company wins the Superbowl in his 2nd year with the Bengals after they were 2-14 in 2019 it would be simply amazing.
I understand why most Tigers fans are pulling for the Bengals. Burrow is our Golden Boy and because he and Chase are more recent, a Bengals win is much more high-profile for the Tigers, helps with recruiting.
Still .... Go Whitworth, Go OBJ! Go Rams! :)

As someone who grew up in Monroe, all my friends were Saints fans
I grew up on the Northshore but the Saints were never a big thing to me. I always pulled for the LSU players around the NFL. With the exception of when the Saints had Dalton Hilliard and Eric Martin they usually did not have many (if any) LSU players. The Saints have never drafted many LSU players and it was/is intentional. LSU players are all over the NFL but the Saints have not tried to draft any of them and mysteriously don’t get hardly any as free agents. I am a Bengals fan at the present but I kinda pulled for KC as well.

OK. Would you provide the context? Thanks

That call didn’t cost the saints the game, the saints cost the saints the game.
BS... It would've given the Saints 1st and goal from the 5, the Rams had no time outs left under 2 minutes and it was a chip shot for Will Lutz for the win. You may want to go back and watch the game again.

And a total POS after they won to get to the super bowl in 2018.
Guy has been an arse for the past half decade but gets revered here as some great guy. I don’t get it.
If you're going to shite on anyone, what about OBJ and the crap he's pulled?

How about you explain yourself as numerous others asked ?
If this has to do with true New Orleans saints.... who gives a F?

Whitworth is our all-time LT. He's a Tiger as am I.
Compared to my love for LSU I have no interest in the Saints. Zero.
The no-call PI was a blatant officiating error. But his point, rightfully argued, was why is only the LAST bad call being discussed? What about the first, second, and on that also affect the ebb-n-flow of the game?
Don't care who wins the SB. Would be just as excited for 2 great Tigers as for 3.

Did his High School finish #1 one year as well?
I wonder if anyone has finished #1 in HS, College and the pro's in football?

About the Saints vs Rams call in 2018:
As a Rams fan, I agree that the Saints got completely hosed there. That's why I did not celebrate the NFC title and I did not care whether we won or lost that Super Bowl vs New England.
Yes, every game has blown calls and I'm sure if we watched the whole game on tape we'd see lots of missed ones, including ones that helped the Saints. But basically, IMO, the missed PI was egregious and it helped decide the game. It was in a different class of missed call. It spoiled that game for me.
IMO, the Rams were not the deserving NFC champion, the Saints deserved to win that game.
That said, if I was a Rams player like Whitworth I would probably feel different and so I have no problem with his POV he expressed then. I just do not share it.

To hell with Whitworth. He called the no call "excuses" and ran his fricking mouth to us. He got his arse kicked in the super bowl then deleted his twitter account like a bitch.
