Some of our so-called "fans" will actually agree with a recruit who is going to Bama.

Just think about that for a minute.

A) You're the program basher these days. You've decided to choose Les Miles over the direction LSU has decided to go with the program. Why can't you just support the decision that's been made by LSU?

B) Dylan decommitted months ago and this just gave him an excuse that saves a little face in his hometown.

Moses has been recruited by Miles since he was in 8th grade, plays ball with Manny, claims to be friends with all of his kids, and yet he decommitted and is likely Bama bound. He has no room to talk and comes off as a hypocrite.

I understand he's just a kid, but he's totally deflecting the spotlight off of his decision not to give the same commitment to Miles and the program that he's asking everyone else to give. It comes off as immature and hypocritical. I'm sure he's a great kid but let's please not use his statements as anything other than what they are, the misdirected sentiments of a kid.

I personally think it’s wrong. I have a good relationship with coach Miles, and you have to think about it. Before the three losses, people weren’t talking about firing him because LSU was undefeated. Now look, I think everything is a process. Just like how last year LSU was a really young team. Then they grew. They have improved since last year, and I feel like that they’ll improve even more next year maybe to even win it all OR win most of their regular season games. LSU really has a bright future. … Just really takes some strong supporters and faithful fans to actually see it. Coach Miles knows what he’s doing.

So, Dylan, why did you withdraw your commitment from Miles and LSU?

Son, you still sit at the kids' table at Thanksgiving. Shut up and let us adults handle this.

You people are ridiculous, when it happened people said he should go and enjoy the process. Now he is 100% Bama lock and people bash him, he hasn't committed anywhere.

I mean perspective from an actual recruit vs message board posters apparently mob mentality wins.

You are putting a little too much weight into the opinion of a 17 year old kid who has been a lifelong friend of the Miles family and yet will not even commit to play for Miles and LSU.

You think this is the silver bullet in an argument to keep Miles?

Yes a kid who wants to have a little fun with the recruiting process. Who freaking cares until he wither commits to Bama or signs. Bashing him certainly isn't helping since he and his dad read this board.

LSU is bigger than any 1 player, no matter the talent level. We make the decision based on the good of the program, not an individual.
Especially when that RECRUIT, not player is:

1. could be considered to have quit on Miles before we did because he decommitted from LSU

2. Is likely a future Gump

I don't think people are bashing him. They seem to be saying that the opinion of a high school player who may or may not come to LSU should have no bearing on whether LSU decides to keep or fire Les Miles. This seems perfectly sensible.

You and a couple of others, however, seem to be grasping onto what this kid says as proof that replacing Les Miles is wrong.

Have you read the thread?
I mean people already think he is a Bama lock, why just because he decommitted when it happened people said he was a Tiger lock and just wanted to enjoy the process.
People want a reason to complain....

Replacing Miles is wrong for other reasons that what Moses says. However, adults attack a kid who isn't even legally allowed to buy cigarettes is just pathetic.

So the coach he loves so much he decommitted from only so that he could experience the "process" he could have done while still being committed. I get it...
