he will now be called an idiot and bashed because he doesn't watch every LSU game

nah, he watches his share, I'm sure... his dad is a big fan, and with all due respect to jrevonte, if Dylan wants to go to Bama, by all means, go to Bama... we'd love to have him represent the university and state of Louisiana, as a whole, but he doesn't want to do that, i wish him well... LSU will be fine, even losing a great player like him...

i think the future is a lot brighter, actually, for this program, and if he can't see it because of his affinity for Les, as a man and not as the coach, well, then i don't know what to tell him...

again, we pay Miles to win games, specifically SEC games, particularly in November and December, not to be Mother fricking Theresa... look at the trend since 2011... we aren't winning enough when it matters the most

People thinking that he is a Bama lock does not equate to bashing him.

Some are calling him hypocritical for saying LSU should make a commitment to Les Miles while he himself will not even do so. And I think that is a fair criticism to make in this case.

I grew up in Louisiana. I remember back to the days when DiNardo was being let go from LSU. A LB by the name of Robert Peace was one of LSU's highest ranked, if not their highest ranked, committed recruit. He was a beast at MLB and LSU desperately needed him. He was a stalwart fan of DiNardo and then LSU DC Lou Tepper; he had built a close relationship to them. He made clear his opinion that it would be a mistake for LSU to fire the coaching staff and if they did so that he would be forced to look at other programs. LSU fired DiNardo and his staff and hired Nick Saban. Peace withdrew his commitment from LSU and signed with Tennessee, the defending national champions.

Bottom line: the opinions of high school recruits should not and can not have any influence on whether a school keeps or replaces a head coach.

So now a recruit that has decommitted from LSU and is likely going to Alabama is taking up the same Alabama party line that Miles is just ever-so-great a coach and LSU is just treating that poor man wrong. Shocker.

When those who have a vested interest in seeing you fail don't like something you're doing, you're on the right track.
