I said there were legitimate reasons for thinking Lee should play. I used the word vitriol to describe the hate(thug, etc) that was thrown at JJ all season. You can think that Lee should play over JJ and that would be legitimate; however it is not an explanation for the shite that was thrown JJ's way this year by our own fanbase. I find it hard to believe the OP is a lawyer. I wouldn't think someone who reads and writes all day would have created a post that is so rife with grammatical and spelling errors.

I'd also say our frustration is with play calling....
JJ does much better in a roll out situation, he's not a very good pocket quarterback. he tends to look like a "stunned mullet" when his first read isn't open and he's very vulnerable to the sack in that situation...

I dont recall seeing anyone say they hate any player.... I personally think we could use both qb's in the game, but I dont dislike either of them, hell... I have never even met them! But I do have a little solution to your dilemma..if you dont like what you see over here, stay your 2000 post arse over on the other site!! See ya!!

Ha Ha. First, when I post on message boards, it is usually with a beer in my hand. Second, I proofread everyday (I'm an intellectual property lawyer), and when I come on message boards to waste some time, I rarely spell check and get concerned with grammar. Michigan Law Class of '98 and been using HuskyLawyer at Dawgman.com for over 10 years.

That said, the race angle is a convenient conclusion with a very little basis in reality.

I think your observations are spot on for the most part. No doubt some of the QB issue is probably racially motivated, but I would hope it's a small percentage.
Believe it or not, there is a segment of the fan base that just wants to believe they're smarter than our head coach.
I know, it's UNBELIEVABLE...but true. LSU is experiencing a dream season that couldn't have been scripted any better. Yet we have "fans" bitching moaning and griping about who's taking snaps...
As an LSU graduate and a life long fan, I'd love to be able to explain it to you. But I've got nothing...other than the simple fact that some of our fans are too stupid to appreciate what we have and exactly how "magical" of a year this is!
