Sorry, rantards, have I been arguing that UF 08 had much better random offensive stats than LSU 07? This is a reach, even for you tards.

Max, the jig is up son. When faced with overwhelming evidence like this to an argument you never made, its time to hang up the keyboard and walk away in shame.

these dudes are clever for sure and when they put their minds together like in here, there is obviously nothing they can't accomplish.

Yeah, total yards is a ridiculously random stat.

Have I been arguing something about the offensive stat production of UF 08 vs LSU 07 that I missed? You really are lost without your spank bank pic of RJF to lead you.

Seriously, what's random about total yards, yards passing, and yards rushing? Doesn't this demonstrate that LSU's offense was roughly equivalent to Florida's? And isn't there a general argument that Miles holds his co-ordinators back? And isn't Florida generally viewed as the offensive gold standard in the SEC?

So why wouldn't these numbers be relevant in demonstrating that LSU's offense in its title year was as good as Florida's offense in theirs, which would rebut the argument that LSU's offense holds the team back?

Honest questions.

I dont think this question should directed at Max as much as it should be directed towards everyone on the board who thinks Florida's offense was and is superior. That includes myself. I still think their offense is better, but it does show you that its closer than many think.

You've been arguing that Miles holds his coordinators back and doesn't utilize his talent. These stats would indicate otherwise.

Nice pull. How the hell did you remember that was my avatar? I'm kind of flattered.

Well, I dont recall ever arguing anything about LSU vs UF 08 but whatever. I didn't realize that having similar yards and random stats at UF meant LSU was at its peak. Where are the points in this comparison? How many games did each team lose? The scoreboard doesnt count yards and number of 30 catch WRs at last check.

LSU averaged 38.6 pts/game if you include overtime points....36.4 if you don't include overtime points

Florida 2008 averaged 43.6 pts/game
although it should be noted they put 70 on the citadel, I'm not on one side or the other, just stating facts

I never said you did. You're dodging all of the questions. You HAVE argued that Miles holds his co-ordinators back. It is generally accepted that Florida has the best offense in the SEC (you are free to disagree -- make the argument). So, a comparison that shows LSU's offense favorably compares to Florida's is most certainly relevant to the argument you DID make -- that Miles holds his co-ordinators back.

Please answer the questions. Take your time. I promise to read your arguments in full and try and see your point of view. But how do you refute that if Miles holds the offense back, why did the offense favorably compare to the SEC's best offense?

Florida will probably win that by a good bit, they put 51 on LSU and 63 on Kentucky
