And plus LSU put up 500 yards of offense against auburn we had some mishaps in the red zone that never happened again this year! I said 34 to 28 as the score with LSU winning. LSU gets 4 TD’s and 2 field goals.

Rewatching Ohio State vs Tranny U, They do a good job disguising blitzes and coverages, and the D is well prepared for sure...

But:

1) They consistently leave their midget cornerbacks one v one with press coverage on WR - but these guys arent Stingley. JJ, Chase, Marshall gonna have deep passes all night

2) They have 2 slow arse middle LB's who play real close to the line and crash with any run action. Our RPO game will give them fits not to mention CEH and Co breaking off big runs

3) Their safeties consistently take bad angles and are too aggressive trying to support run defense. Joe will see that on film and burn them deep over and over.

So your saying that your gonna score more points against Clemson than you did against over 2/3rds of your opponents . 56 points which twice what they have given up in any game .OK I guess we will see .

I think you misunderstand the point. The point is that Clemson is not a demonstrably better defense than Auburn or Georgia. Actually...I think this years Georgia defense is a really close comparison. We know what that looks like.

LAST YEARS Clemson defense...yeah...scary. That Defense is WAY better than anybody’s defense this year. That team I think could shut down LSU this year to some extent.

But THIS YEARS Clemson I don’t think will be the best defense we have played this season. I think UGA is similar and Auburn is better.

I think to slowdown LSU you have to get pressure without blitzing....and regularly. That isnt what Clemson is good at this year. Clemson WAS the only team stop Bama last season...but they didn’t scheme up stuff. They just whipped them at the LOS.




This is totally reasonable and generally what I worry about . Just not 56 points worth of worry and I know you didn't post that .
