If competition is close a new coach is going with the young arm to build toward the future. The new coach knows he has a year or two before he is going to be judged.

I thought Brennen was best in spring game. Very accurate passer with better mechanics than max or miss

Brennan's going out with the guy that brought him in. Why start over with a new coach in your 5th year coming off an injury and 2nd string. They could plug and play him at ULL Tulane or Southern Miss

I think he’d beat Max out by a mile in the spring and summer. Maybe I’m just way off base?

First day back as starting QB, his knees would buckle and his femurs, tibias, fibulas - they'd shatter like glass. Then after Max transferred, we'd be riding the baby Nuss train while you all wait for MB to get his 15th medical redshirt to be ready to get injured again when he's 35.
