I am not sure what Ensminger's offense will look like but it will not take a lot for me to like it better than last year.
Now I do question was it Canada's offense or the QB talent he had to work with. What ever the case ----

Where's the stats of the shitty defenses we played last year? We couldn't muster 300+ yards against BYU, I'll say it again, BYU. 14 pts. against Bama is his claim to fame, compare Bama's 2016 defense vs 2017 Bama defense. Drastic difference.

If that's the case then we can't give Canada credit for that one.?? one thing to remember guys, Canada had 5 jobs in 4 years, that should be a big red flag and you can blame O and alleva for that hire.

Wow! You liked the 3 yards and a cloud of dust of the old ancient Les Miles antiquated offense that tortured most LSU fans for years.
I think he liked when the LSU players were celebrating victory only to learn that the clock had run to zero before they scored the game winning TD.
Too bad the Auburn game is the last one we will get to see that happen with les "Clock Aware" Miles.

We had 470+ yards on BYU. We scored 10 on Bama, not 14.

Bama had the #1 defense both years, so they were stout either way. Their D actually gave up less points per game last year. Their rush D's numbers were better in 2016, but they were still #1 last year giving up less than 100 yards per game rushing.

Canada’s RED ZONE offense was steaming dog shite.

Yeah, it was pretty poor. I expected more out of the red zone offense.

The problem in 2016 was Ensminger had to run Les Mile's old antique offense. Thus, most teams we played against knew the plays coming before we snapped the ball.
With most teams, that didn't matter, as we would still win.
You guys have been propping up Ensminger with the "he set records" line for months. But, now you're saying the offense was old and antiquated and we could just run over the lesser teams. Even when people said that the teams they set records against stunk, you stood by Ensminger and how great he is.
You can't give Ensminger credit for playcalling against weaker teams when "it didn't matter, as we would still win", then say you can't blame him for the playcalling in a shutout. Can't have it both ways.

Everybody always blamed it on the offensive line, but that wasn't the problem.
You've been blaming the offensive line in every thread for months on end, saying Miles left us with no depth in the trenches! What the hell is this? Now, all of a sudden, it's NOT on the offensive line?
You've really have talked yourself into a corner here, even more so than usual, my friend.

Red zone and 3rd down conversions were worse last year than 2016.

It doesn't matter if it was 14 or 10 we still lost

Your post is completely incorrect factually.

Orgeron is definitely better at clock management than Miles. Orgeron has been fantastic with his clock management so far.

Well, you had two stats in your post and both were wrong, so while I was correcting the BYU stat (which wasn't even close to being accurate), I decided to just go ahead and correct the other one as well. And yes, a loss is a loss.

to be fair, its easy to be a good clock manager when 90 % of your career the score isnt close at the end of the game.
