I bleed purple and gold, been a season ticket holder for 40 yrs. but give my tickets to family when game is on TV,getting too old to fight the crowd. After three and out on defense and two pretty good looking first downs to get across mid-field, I bet my son-in-law the next trip to the cooler that JJ would turn it over before we got a point.

no your just playing the odds. ya know, being realistic about what will probably happen more likely than not. Many will call you a bad fan though

I'm on the verge of reaching the summit of that hill myself.

You said out loud what many were thinking silently. I can't stop the voices in my head!

going to games are a hassle. i'd rather just grill out with my friends and watch the games from the best seat in the house.

Think about this: the games are made to be watched on tv.

When we were coming up, the game was over in a couple of hours, now could be 3+.

Cheer, hell yeah we cheer. Then a tv timeout ref walks out and stops playfor the commercial. When he departs, we are, on cue, to resume cheering.

And yes, we're getting older, but certain teams play a style of ball that just isn't that entertaing. Did I mention Curley Hallman?

I've joined the 10,000+ that now come up to tailgate, enjoy the company of friends I wouldn't see otherwise, then scoot home to watch on tv.

Call me a bad fan. I've been called worse.

Went to one game last year and asked myself why on the two mile walk back to my car and then it took an hour and a half to get on I-10.

This is the first year where I have to motivate myself to actually go to each game. I think it's based solely on how boring this team is to watch. I mean, there are times when I literally have to fight sleep while i'm in the damn stadium. It's terrible and i kind of feel bad about it. But I can't help it. I actually enjoy away games now because I have no other option then to park my rear end on my couch. I can flip back and forth between LSU and other games where teams execute on offense

thought we were going to be OK, 'til I saw the 1st tipped pass. Thats when I placed my bet that a pick was soon to come.

Didnt take long

If you've had season tickets for 40 years, I think your safely in the good fan club

I still try to get to BR whenever I can to be in that stadium, but I'm also younger than your tickets.

The play is so atrociously bad, it is very boring to watch LSU right now. And yes, it was the same way last year and 2008.

in '08 we weren't boring. we scored points. just had a lot of pick 6's and the defense blew. never a dull moment though. Now it's like watching friggin paint dry
