Fair enough - that was a very statistically in tune point I must admit.

Here are the real facts.

These media members don't know who will win. It's a guess. Maybe educated, maybe not.

Fans don't know who will win. It's a guess based on who they root for.

Would I be shocked if LSU won? No.

Would I be shocked if LSU lost? No.

That's the reality.

I don't understand why that would change your confidence level either way.
I don't either, hence the use of the word "ironically".

I honestly feel like we score in the 20s, at least. I just have a feeling we'll move the ball well but struggle a little in the red-zone.

Not at the time of his hire. He was acclaimed on this site as the second coming.

People were very willing to accept a site unseen, on paper quality hire.

90% of the fans here didn't know what Canada was or what he was going to bring. It was a bad, bad hire for this team. Those who made the decision deserve every bit of criticism for it.

I have a feeling that Vegas has targeted us to make a killing. They're in the business on making money.

Think about it... It's the perfect storm in their favor. The media and everyone else is picking against us, so why not take advantage of it? Placing the win total at 7.5 and pushing the O/Canada problems from last season has everyone betting under, when they know damn well this is at least an 8 win team. Vegas loves when people aren't sure about a big program, because they dang sure have their ways of finding out.
thats not the way Vegas sports books operate.

I hope not

Cool

Name a top 10 offense or defense O coached

What does “through his tactics” mean?

I don't want to parse your words. What is it about our offense that makes you think we'll move the ball well.

Personally, I'm concerned about our OL, and the inexperience at WR. I'm also very concerned that this scheme will be effectively implemented given the problems we had in Spring.

I just saw a video by Colin Cowherd saying that "Miami will beat LSU because LSU isn't returning anyone from last year; they are simply a very young team".

Do these guys perform any homework at all before they open their mouths?

It's true Miami is a great team but nobody TRULY knows how strong LSU will show up.. OP if you just let these guys do their talking it'll only come back to bite them at some point during this year. The only outcome they're able to predict is that O get's fired and LSU posts a sh*tty season, I say let them do that and let the hammer come down on them at any time down the line should it look like that won't be the case.

I admittedly bought into the Joe Burrow hype, I have confidence in our young receiving corps due to talent level, plus Giles is actually pretty experienced. RB is a bit of a concern, but I believe we'll have enough to move the ball when it counts. Perhaps the explosive plays will be missing, since we don't have a Fournette or Guice, but we've run well before with the same type of players. Part of the offensive line is a question mark, but I believe in our OL coach's ability to develop them into a solid group. Plus a spread concept type of offense will take pressure off of them. I never base anything off of a spring game or what I read on the Rant. The motivation is going to be there for sure. This team will come out pissed with something to prove.
