I'm no JA fan but appears to me he's at lest trying to be proactive.
That's a good thing.

The next step will be when they start throwing each other under the bus. I look for that to begin after the Auburn game.

Alleva has to know he is tied to Orgeron and this "CEO experiment". Alleva bought the idea of a CEO role with two superior (to the CEO) football minds to serve beneath the CEO as coordinators. If Alleva is meeting with all four at the same time it sounds like he is attempting to iron things out between the CEO and his coordinators. If this is the case, and I'm just hypothesizing here, you have to assume that the coordinators have serious problems with how Orgeron is handling this team.

I'm hoping that Orgeron was put in his place. "Keep your hands off and clap a lot" is sadly the best thing that could happen. I don't know if Matt Canada is a future genius OC or not, but I'm 100% confident that he knows way more about running an offense than Orgeron. As for Aranda, if Orgeron has any opinion on the defense he needs to keep it to himself.

Yeah poor O. He gets millions for getting fired, I'm sure he will lose many nights of sleep over the fear of losing his job.

When the AD is getting involved in football in that capacity, things are horribly wrong.

Exactly. 5 games into this regime and the AD, Head Coach, DC and OC are having a meeting?

There may be much deeper problems than any of us realize.

So in other words, during the regular Monday meeting, O says “my coordinators are not listening to me, apparently they took that whole ‘I’m going to let them coach’ thing too much to heart. Now, we know I have to succeed or you and I are both out of a job, so I’m gonna bring them in here and you tell them they have to listen to me.”

You don't wait to get on the "same page" almost half way through the season

Can’t you just see Nick or Miles being involved in a meeting like this. lol

Looks like Joe got what he wanted. A weak football coach he could discuss football tactics with and not feel intimidated by.

5 games into a coaches career and he’s having to meet with the AD to make sure everyone is on the same page. God help us!

I'm glad they did this, but I don't see the value in discussing this publicly. It is something that should be occurring regularly, not some special event.
