It has nothing to do with anyone of us thinking we know more than Coack Mulkey. There is nothing wrong with Constructive Criticism. Hell even Coach Mulkey didn't put the ball in HVL hands in the last seconds of the game against Auburn.
Now just think back this time last year, that ball would have been in the hands of Alexis Morris for sure in the same situation.

I’m giving all the posters a pass because we have no other posts going on right now. Softball starts in a month, then baseball. I imagine the constant WBB talk will chill after that.

She put the ball in the hands of the worst ball handler on the team for the last shot. I don’t care what her resume says. That was an awful decision. Coach had a bad day. It happens.

The smart decision would have been to let Mikaylah to have a clearcut iso play where she can score or dribble penetrate to find Reese (or a Reese put back)
The other issue is Reese literally dribbled like 10+ seconds off the clock before attempting to run a play.

Listen to what KM said post game. She said NOTHING they tried in anyone's hands had worked on offense. So, she tried something different. It did not work either and she said that was "on her."
Just face it: LSU could not execute its offense Sunday and shot poorly from every position. Sometimes you have a hiccup. A team that relies on its topnotch shooting and FT points is probably going to lose when those things go poorly.
Time to move on to Alabama (Thurs) and Arkie (Sun in the PMAC).
