Nola does have a great argument but with the strikeout record and Golden Spikes, it's going to take another pitcher matching him for any list to take Ben out of the #1 spot.
I guess for some but not for me

Nola having a considerable better ERA and WHIP, while only 1 less strikeout per nine inning average is enough for me

Trust me, I agree with you. I had a back and forth with another poster about this very same argument a couple of weeks ago. I said I think what Nola did was more impressive to me. I'm just saying that for a list you'll see online or otherwise, it's going to take a whole lot for Ben to be removed if they limit the list to one pitcher. In his last two years, Nola lost 2 games and didn't allow more than 2 ER in either. Lost to UCLA 2-1 in the CWS in 2013, both runs being unearned. Lost to Florida 2-1 in 2014.

Bergman has to be on it. Barbier was the best clutch batter ever and very solid 3rd

No DH?

I get why it’s not listed though. It’s focusung on what position players would start.

Larson and Russ are above Bregs at SS.

You can't even spell his name right.

And, no, he doesn't have to be on it.

Look up what Brandon Larson did in an LSU uniform.

Hope you are being funny. That C - Nola does not compute unless it's purely sarcastic.

If they are going to name Larson based on one great season....then Lloyd Peever Should be in the mix.
14-0
1.98 era
104 innings, 67 hits, 20 walks
116 K’s

a 40 home run season is more impressive than that. Is it recency bias for Bregman that has people trying to minimize Larson's 1997 season now?

Person that put this together is grossly ill-informed on LSU baseball. Must be under 25.

List is shite without Warren Morris as Honorary 3rd Base Coach.

crazy that a player the caliber of lemahieu can't even crack the top 5 infielders. he would be the all time best infielder at pretty much every school in the country
