Florida this year. Great battle by two great teams with an amazing finish. A game that lived up to the hype.

The UF game of '07 was the best I have seen, in person. I only get down there for a game a year now, I have never seen a harder hitting, more physical game.

Tennessee 2000. My wife's first game, got to run out on the field, take pictures in the endzone, 50 yardline, and with the goal post. I had to explain to her afterwards that every game isn't like this...

UGA 2003 by far...the nasty sacks david green getting mauled the hard-nosed defense on both sides and at the end skyler green answers the 93 yard UGA screen pass for the win

however, the best game ive been to in person is def FL last year...because well im only 18 and most of my friends and people im out there with would much rather stay outside the stadium during the game to keep partying...but not me i went on ebay and bought one ticket for myself and pulled myself from one of the best tailgating parties of the year to go in the stadium by myself and have the time of my life

probably not the best all-time, but definitely as awesome as many already mentioned- at arizona state in 05.

two incredible special teams touchdowns keep us in the game for jamarcus to connect with doucet on the most clutch 4th and 10 ever...

2005 @ Alabama

That game had it all.

#4 vs. #5 - A great 2nd half comeback - Overtime

And an LSU victory!

And it killed any chance Bama had at a National Championship!

the florida game last year was the best event i have ever witnessed in history....the game was amazing, on top of getting tebow's number, his celebration when he called out the students, to the usc announcement when the entire stadium errupted, to the comeback....sorry im getting an errection just thinkin about it

I'd have to say the 2007 season as the All-Time Great LSU Football Game! Yes, the entire season!

last fall's Florida game. I know I'm a trivia geek who likes to talk about old games, but that game had everything. Defending national champ with eventual Heisman winner vs eventual national champ on prime time National tv when we were #1 in one poll and during the game the 'other #1' lost.

Other 'greats':
1949 Tulane
1958 Ole Miss
1963 Texas
1966 Arkansas
1971 Notre Dame
1982 Alabama
1982 Florida State
1983 Washington
1986 Notre Dame
1988 Auburn
1995 Auburn
1997 Florida
2001 Tennessee
2003 Georgia
2007 Notre Dame

Good list rtgr, but I'm not sure I'd put the 59 Sugar Bowl up there with the others.

Pretty much just an exhibition game since the final polls already had ranked LSU #1. Wasn't a particularly well played or exciting game. LSU went into it a 17 point favorite and managed only a single td on a Billy Cannon pass.

It was noteworthy that it was LSU's first Sugar Bowl victory and I believe it was the first time the Tigers were on live TV nationwide.

Our first SEC championship game in Atlanta in '01( I think). Huge underdog to UT, they were a shoe-in for the NC game, Tiger fans badly outnumbered and Rohan goes down. Cue Matt Mauck and huge upset. The band played the pregame so many times, I heard it in my sleep.

I asked my wife to marry meet at the LSU AU game in 1988. Pretty special. The game itself was horrible until the last 6 minutes. It was awesome being their when Eddie pulled down the pass after 2 previous tries.

I would have to say LSU UF 1997. My wife was so into the game on TV I agreed to give our 3 year old a bath. Our daughter was in the bath tub for over an hour while I ran back and forth. Beating the #1 team in the nation was awesome. I never thought I would live to ee LSU do it. Now we have done it twice since. LOL

For me personally it would be the 2000 Tennessee game. Although the 2003 Georgia game is awfully close.

Great list - can't quibble about any of those, but did you intend to leave off the 69 Auburn game. Fantastic game - halfback pass for touchdown on first play from scrimmage. Eventual Heisman trophy winner qb for the Plainsmen. Blocked xp in 4th quarter to preserve the win.

Mine was definitly the Florida game last year barely edging out the '03 Georgia game, roller coaster ride, that last drive riding Hester to the game winning TD was sweet
