WDA, no I’m not pleased with losing, but it’s only one game in Kelly first season. If LSU still looks shitty by mid season, I’m with you and I’d be very concerned.

I can assure you I’m not a “woke LSU Fan”. Am I happy about everything last night? Of course not. Nabers dropped punts and the second blocked kick after they corrected the first were all correctable things.
The team is raw in so many ways and this was their first chance on the field. I couldn’t believe the number of player I didn’t know especially in the secondary where I follow recruiting a lot. For example, I didn’t know Foucha wasn’t playing until game time and in fact he is out 4 games with academic issues I’m assuming from Arky.

He is one player that they are counting on to help keep them organized.

Was it expected to be rough? Yep.
They started in January with 39 scholarship players. Lost a ton of starting talent. Every position foul outside of dline is a complete rebuild some of which didn’t come until the summer.

You can’t take 1 data point and call it a trend. This is about continuously improving as the year goes on and finishing strong. I stand behind my prediction of 7-5 or 6-6 as I was depending on this win. I do think they will win games but their depth is just not there to be in contention for a lot of games. Just the way it is today and if anyone stays or thinks differently, they are nothing but trolls or kids under 40.

The level of degeneracy on this board is breathtaking.
