does anyone know why the NCAA decided that the super regionals would still be played at thr regional hosts, even if those teams lost? WHat a huge missed oppurtunity for teams like DBU or Old Dominion to not be able to hose a Super Regional. That would be huge for their programs

"Due to the health and safety protocols surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, it was deemed necessary to conduct NCAA championship competition at predetermined sites. Of the 20 selected sites, the committee will choose 16 to host regional-round games. Eight of those 16 regional sites will host super regionals."

DBUs stadium only holds 2000, might have something to do with it.

So it looks like this is the only one that gets screwed by the goofy rules this year....NCAA is lucky. Still I'm half hot if I'm DBU because they may have had a puncher's chance to win that SR host bid.

Thanks for the info..I wonder though has someone other than Tennesee would have won the Knoxville regional, how much pressure they would have been on to not let LSU host the Super Regional!

Naturally we get the one time slot I have something planned on Saturday.

I have DVR/cable at my place, but I'll be out of town this weekend. Is there anyway to watch a replay of the game later that night through the ESPN app or something?

Hoping to avoid the score and then watch the Tigers for the night cap later that night.

Great baseball weather in Tuscon for this weekend

106 or 107 during the day! A cool 95 at first pitch. Brutal.

The NCAA is one of the most politically correct organizations in the country. LSU and its current administration would not have put any pressure on them to alter their PC stance.

La tech only holds 2100, so they can’t say that is an excuse. Guess it’s just easy to keep the winner there and DBU can start preparing to go to Columbia
